Zero-Knowledge

Reeve is built so that trusting us is unnecessary; you may verify every word of ours:

• No Servers. Reeve keeps no backend of its own. The extension corresponds solely with the provider of your choosing, and with the key that is yours to grant.
• No Accounts. There is nothing to enrol in, and no address to relinquish.
• No Data Collection. We keep no analytics, send no telemetry, and preserve no logs. Your scans and their history reside within your browser's own storage, and in no other place.
• Three Permissions Only. activeTab, Storage, Scripting. No host permissions are sought, nor is any part of your browsing observed.

This very page sets no cookie upon you, and gathers no analytics.

Refund Policy

Orders are handled by Paddle.com, acting as our merchant of record. Should Reeve not serve you well, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase; no justification is required of you. Write to business@reeve.info, or use the link upon your Paddle receipt; refunds are returned to the original method of payment.

Terms of Service

• The Product. Reeve is a browser extension that analyses privacy-policy text by means of an AI provider account of your own supplying. The Founder's Lifetime Deal confers upon one person a perpetual licence to Reeve's premium features, enduring for the lifetime of the product.
• BYOK (Bring Your Own Key). Your use of an AI provider is governed by that provider's own terms and rate limits; their fees, should there be any, fall to you.
• No Counsel. Reeve's grades and summaries are automated aids, not legal counsel. AI analysis may err; any consequential decision deserves a reading of the source policy itself.
• Lifetime, Defined Honestly. By the "lifetime", we mean the lifetime of Reeve as a maintained product; not that of the purchaser, nor of the universe. Were the project ever to wind down, the extension would carry on locally for as long as browsers and your chosen providers permit.
• Payments. All purchases are transacted through Paddle.com as merchant of record; the transaction is subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

Privacy Policy

It would ill become a grader of privacy policies to keep a poor one of its own; ours is brief because there is, in truth, nothing to disclose:

• The Extension neither collects your data, nor transmits any to us; everything (your API key, settings, and scan history) is kept solely within your browser's local storage. The policy text you scan is sent only to the AI provider you configured, under your own key and their privacy terms.
• This Website keeps nothing of you: it sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and no server logs are kept by us; the checkout page, described below, is the one exception.
• Purchases are handled wholly by Paddle.com as merchant of record, subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy; your payment details never come into our hands. Their checkout opens upon our own site when you choose to buy, and loads Paddle's script, which sets their cookies.
• e-Mail you choose to send us serves to let us reply, and to improve Reeve. Unlike the extension's claims, which you may verify in its code, this one you cannot audit; we therefore offer it as a plain promise, with the handling of your mail set out below.

Mail-Handling Policy (a Promise, Not a Proof)

• Use. Your address serves only to answer you, and your message may inform how Reeve is bettered: never to market to you, never added to any list (we keep none), never shared or sold.
• Retention. Your correspondence outlives its purpose by no longer than it must: deleted when your matter is resolved, and in no case kept beyond 90 days. Records the law obliges us to keep stand outside this, as do the refund transactions Paddle holds as merchant of record, which were never ours to delete.
• A Word of Caution. Ordinary e-mail is no sealed letter: it rests, in the clear, on centralised providers at both ends. A dishonest or compromised employee of any of them could read your message, take it, or expose it. Include no personal details your matter does not require; an alias service serves well.

Correspondence
